If you are looking for a French drive and survive Carp Fishing lake with something to offer everyone then why not stay at Le Chêne Vert. Our 5 acre Carp lake is in the heart of the Limousin countryside and is set in a further 5 acres of private parkland and woods. The lake is stocked with mirror Carp and common Carp to 45lbs and is ideal for both experienced and novice anglers, while our facilities make it an excellent choice for drive and survive, families and mixed groups, as well as catering for the individual angler.

Despite some difficult fishing conditions (as a result of the temperamental weather we experienced this summer) 2007 has still proved to be an excellent season. Yet again many anglers have broken their personal bests. They have enjoyed the challenge of landing our carp, as they tend to fight hard right up until they’re in the net! We have also received many compliments regarding the quality and colours of the carp caught.

NEW STOCK JUST ADDED

1 TON of CARP

1 ton of czech royal carp have been added to the lake the first weekend in December 2007. These carp are all excellent specimens and are a perfect addition to the fishery. Click on Lake news or photo gallery to find out more. The stock we added in 2006 has proved to have piled on the pounds over the course of the year , (and will continue to do so). These coupled with our existing stock gives a wide diversity of fish. We currently have Mirror carp and common carp to 45lb+, linear carp , roach, zander, tench, perch and grass carp.

In addition to an english toilet and shower facilities, we have an 8m pool available for you to use and a bunk chalet (sleeping 6) for those not wishing to do the drive and survive bivvy thing. There is also a large covered “Abri” for dinning and cooking, barbeque and picnic areas. Along with the multi use sports pitch for badminton, 5 aside, volley ball etc…this is an ideal venue for drive and survive, family and group holidays as well as individual anglers.
