2008 Catch reports

17th - 24th May

The carp were still showing sighns that they have not finished there spawning, but some nice fish out regardless. Well done lads !! Pez came out top rod on a hard week.

10th - 17th May

We have just said goodbye to Ray box and his party, 5 Anglers in total .Ray Box, Barry Wilkinson, S Gallagher, Barry Moares and Barry Rogers. The weather was generally good, though a bit overcast with occassional rain.Carp spent the first few days enjoying the sun before getting their heads down to feed. Well done to Barry Rogers for the biggest haul of the week, banking 11 carp with a total weight of 296 3/4 lb! He also landed the largest carp of the week at 33 1/4lb. Here's the total catch, they were all mirrors apart from 1 common.

19th-22nd April
Last week we only had Roland carping for a few days so myself and Bret tried a couple of days/nights. The weather was constant rain and wind which turned the carp right off the feed..(Not that it put Roland off and he kept at it.) Well done on the PB's.

I have just said good bye to Steve and Neil from Nottingham who both smashed there PB'S
They enjoyed a week of highs and lows, not just the weather which ranged from sunshine, blizzard, snow and lots of rain.
It was all against them but they kept on at it, well done you two.
